Our first three runs have each sold out in just a few hours, by popular demand, you can order yours now.
For the next week, you can order this bowl before our limited run concludes. It will be painted “on demand” for you. Our unique hand painting process takes 7-10 days. Please allow a few weeks for this masterpiece to arrive. We will be in touch the whole way.
A bell metal bronze singing bowl, of approximately 8.5 inches in diameter and hand-painted to honor The Year of The Fire Horse.
The 5 Bowls in this series produce fundamental tones in the third-octave. Above that fundamental, each bowl generates a rich series of overtones: a powerful mid-range partial that carries the primary voice, a strong upper harmonic that adds warmth and complexity, and shimmering high-frequency content that gives the sound its brightness and air.
Most importantly, bowls in this run generate audible beat frequencies in the alpha brainwave range — that pulsing, wavering quality you hear when two close frequencies interact.
No two bowls are the same; each is rich in unique overtones that come from the handmade nature of each individual piece.
The Fire Horse is a visual statement as fierce as its sound. Inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse — a symbol of unstoppable energy, relentless forward motion, and transformation through flame — each bowl features a hand-painted white stallion in full gallop, mane and tail ablaze with fire that wraps the entire circumference of the bowl. The flames rise from the base in layered brushstrokes of crimson, amber, and gold, while the horse charges through a hand-dotted cosmos of stars and silver constellations against a dark, oxidized bronze sky.
Every Fire Horse bowl is selected and created to be a beat-frequency-generating resonator first, and a visual masterpiece second. The bronze is evaluated before any brush ever touches the surface.
The painting process alone takes days per piece — from base coat oxidation, to layered flame work, to fine silver-white horse detailing, to the hand-dotted star field, to final sealing.
Each Fire Horse bowl ships with everything you need to play: a handmade hardwood striker wrapped in suede for playing around the rim and producing sustained overtones, and a soft-tipped red wool mallet for inviting the bowl to sing with a full, resonant strike.
Each heirloom bowl comes from Kathmandu, Nepal and is guaranteed for life.
